Information we may receive
When you browse the site, basic technical information may be processed by the hosting provider, such as browser type, device information, approximate location, and request logs. We do not sell or trade your personal data to third parties.
If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include in your message. We do not need your payment or booking details to answer a general editorial enquiry.
Google Analytics
With your consent, OuttaHere uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-YDXS45NHSZ), provided by Google LLC and, for people in the EEA and UK, Google Ireland Limited. Google processes this information as our analytics provider so we can measure audience and site performance, including which guides and destinations are read. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising or profiling.
Analytics may receive the page URL and title, the referring page, approximate location derived from your IP address, device, browser, operating system and screen size, and a pseudonymous identifier stored in a first-party cookie. We do not send names or email addresses to Google Analytics.
Nothing is loaded, stored, or sent to Google Analytics before you select Accept analytics. If you select Reject analytics, no Analytics script, cookie, or request is used. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops further analytics collection and clears Analytics cookies where possible, but measurements already sent cannot be recalled.
User and event data in our Analytics property is retained for up to 14 months and then automatically deleted. Google Signals data collection is off. We do not use advertising features, remarketing, Google Ads linking, or advertising personalization.
Referral links
When you interact with booking widgets or follow referral links to partner travel sites, affiliate networks and booking platforms may use cookies, scripts, or similar tracking to recognize that you came from OuttaHere. We do not collect or store your payment details—their own privacy notices apply once you leave OuttaHere.
Publishing tool integrations
Pinterest integration. Our own publishing tool connects to Pinterest using Pinterest's OAuth authorisation. It accesses only the OuttaHere Pinterest business account's own boards and Pins; no other Pinterest user's data is accessed. We store the OAuth access token on our own server — never a Pinterest password and never a session cookie — and use it solely to publish content we create ourselves and to read our own account's performance. Access can be revoked at any time from Pinterest account settings.
TikTok integration. Our own publishing tool connects to TikTok using TikTok's OAuth authorisation (Login Kit). It accesses only the TikTok account that authorises it — the OuttaHere account — to read that account's basic profile information (nickname and avatar) so the person publishing can confirm which account a video will go to, to publish video we created ourselves, and to read the status of our own uploads. We never access another TikTok user's data, never collect or store TikTok passwords or session cookies, and store only the OAuth access and refresh tokens on our own servers, which the account owner can revoke at any time in TikTok settings. Content is published only after a person has reviewed and confirmed that specific post.
We do not sell, rent or share this data with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising purposes.
Your choices and rights
You can manage analytics through Cookie settings in the footer, adjust your browser settings, or choose not to follow referral links.
Depending on your location (such as the UK, EU, or California), you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information you have provided to us using the email link below.
Updates to this policy
We may update this page periodically to reflect changes to our hosting, analytics tools, affiliate partnerships, or legal requirements.
